Our AI programs use heuristic relational nonnumeric data constructs defined in a topological context which allows for the construction of asynchronous Moore and Mealy state machines of unlimited size and scope analyzed with probability modeling. The technology allows for the creation of massively parallel data constructs in environments that are rule based. This methodology has the ability to mimic human thought in those rule based environments. In the common parlance and modern internet language of Google; by analogy we have essentially developed a decisional “page ranking system” for all the words and their definitions in the English language, which allows us to have a computer program that understands the English language and the thought processes involved with the construction of sentences within the language. But this technology is orders of magnitude more powerful than a “simple” page ranking system. Our software language can parse a sentence and understand the intent of the speaker. It even understands questions. To do complex programming all you have to do is pose simple questions or commands. So anyone who can write an English sentence can do complex programming. The program can be used to find specific answers from massive databases, which are not indexed. The program works in the same manner as would a person simply reading the materials one page at a time and then making decisions about everything read but with a perfect memory.
Any thought processes that can be defined by rules lends itself to creation of expert systems which can be “educated.” The numbers of rules that can be created are unlimited. As the system rules are increased along with data points relating to prior decisional data points (expertise), the program or “artificial person” learns to think; it makes decisions as to the intent of the speaker. Once the “artificial child” is educated, the output as to queries rivals or exceeds that of human intelligence.
For instance, one of the rule based areas that affects your everyday life is the practice of law. Everything attorneys, judges and legislators do is rule based. This area of thought lends itself extremely well to modeling with our AI programs. So what can this software do? At the basic level, you pose a simple command such as Define the term “common law.” The program will evaluate this command and then go into a massive database of legal cases and will first determine which cases involve the common law, look at all the details of those cases, index the results and then determine from all the results a definition for the term “common law” and present those results for review.
